Technology, Resources and Sustainability in India
In this paper, we discuss the possibility of future transformation of the society and poverty alleviation through continuous interactions and result oriented methodologies based on scientific methodologies for resource utilization, simulation and connectivity. We demonstrate the feasibility of change of the economy through a few case studies on watershed management, infrastructure development, facility location and network connectivity.

Dr. Subhash Datta
Dr. Subhash Datta, an International Fellow of Operational Research, has published 9 books & 65 articles. Awarded the Sir Charles Goodeve Gold Medal (1990), he specializes in DSS models for resource management & decentralized planning. He is a life member of the Operational Research Society of India.
